£5 on the door (£3 if you come dressed as the story behind a National Trust property)

We will once again be selling copies of Solipsistic Pop at this final evening curated and hosted by Josie Long. There will be live performances and lectures from comedians and smart people. Anna Saunders will also be drawing during the performances – the results of which will be available to view and/or buy at the end of the night. We Are Words & Pictures will be joining us to sell copies of Paper Science and selected comics/zines.

We will be selling copies of Solipsistic Pop at this evening curated and hosted by Josie Long. There will be live performances and lectures from comedians both new and established. Anna Saunders will also be drawing live – with the results projected onto the walls of the Black Heart. We Are Words & Pictures will be joining us to sell copies of the fantastic Paper Science and selected comics/zines.

Leeds Thought Bubble

Solipsistic Pop will be on sale at this weekend’s Thought Bubble in Leeds as part of the We Are Words & Pictures stall. Contributors Julia Scheele, Matthew Sheret and Tom Humberstone will be there to sign copies and discuss the book while many other contributors will be at the festival with their own tables.

The WAW&P mini-anthology and Newspaper Club collaboration Paper Science will also be on sale and features work by several contributors from Solipsistic Pop. It will be sold for £1 or come free with every purchase of Solipsistic Pop.

Solipsistic Pop badges and stickers will also be included with each sale.

Orbital Exhibition

An exhibition of original artwork from Solipsistic Pop contributors is currently on display at the Orbital Comics Gallery on Great Newport Street.

The exhibition is on from 14-19 November and will return from 23-30 November. Normal opening times apply.

Solipsistic Pop Launch at the ICA

Book one of Solipsistic Pop will be officially launched at the Comica Comiket at the ICA on November 8th.

The stall will feature copies of the book and a selection of work by the contributors. Most contributors will be there on the day to sign books. The Comiket will be open between 1pm and 6pm.

A post-launch party will take place in the ICA bar from 7.30pm until closing. There will be live drawing and DJ sets from contributors during the night.

News on how you can pick up copies of Solipsistic Pop after the launch will be available here later that week.
